Para 18 - قَدْ اَفْلَحَ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

24.19-20

اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ یُحِبُّوْنَ اَنْ تَشِیْعَ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِی الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِیْمٌۙ-فِی الدُّنْیَا وَ الْاٰخِرَةِؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ یَعْلَمُ وَ اَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ(19) وَ لَوْ لَا فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَیْكُمْ وَ رَحْمَتُهٗ وَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ رَءُوْفٌ رَّحِیْمٌ۠ ٜ (20)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

English translation of Kanz-ul-Imaan

Indeed, those who wish that scandal should spread amongst the Muslims, for them is a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah knows, and you know not. And had it not been for the Benevolence of Allah and His Mercy upon you, and this; that Allah is Forgiving, Most Merciful, you would have consequently tasted its flavour (of punishment).

Commentary

Here “spread” means to publicise or to make apparent, and indecency refers to all statements and actions which contain obscenity. This verse applies to all such songs, dramas, films, books, music, websites, TV channels, and shamelessness; moreover, this includes organisers and participants of gatherings and processions where there is an intermingling of men and women, music, and immodesty.
